Some streets stay unknown -
Names you won't recongnize
Till you die. Or sleep.
Or whatever it is to
Close your eyes
And take a first breathe
Into the land of unknown
Things that don't happen,
People you need not to know...
Some streets never end
And never will bring you home.
Easy to say that heart is the key;
Harder to live, harder to breathe,
Next to impossible - leave
And let the things be.
Can you still wonder why
We won't fall off the earth
Into skies... and then fly?
Some streets are of third kind -
They lull you to sleep,
They have orange streetlights
And rain that tastes sweet.
Unbidden they come and
It's a coffee you share,
A song you street-dance,
A love neverending...
Then you wake up.
